Behind the Scenes of Know Your Locals

Last week we had a whale of a time during our campaign shoot for the soon-to-launch "Know Your Locals" collection in collaboration with Surfers Against Sewage (SAS) and Brothers Make.

We were blessed with amazing weather, probably the hottest day of the year yet! We headed over to the gorgeous Hengistbury Head beach and kicked off the shoot with a beach-clean part of the Million Mile Clean by SAS. With our little pickers in hand, we started picking up items quickly. Every few steps, we found something that was harmful to the environment.

Our talented videographer Ben and photographer Evie captured our team, Matt and Jonny from Brothers Make, and SAS regional reps in action, while wearing the bracelets and anklets made entirely from recycled plastic waste. It was a way for us to showcase our playful side while also emphasising the importance of keeping our oceans clean.

After a lunch break enjoying the stunning scenery, we began shooting our “Know Your Locals” tee and tote bag with our model Ellen along the soft, sandy beach, and finished up with some shots of Nathan (our company Director) surfing some waves in the ocean!

We then headed back to a little cafe where we had a cuppa and checked out the shots from the day! We couldn’t be happier with the results and we can't wait to share them with you!

We’re proud to partner with creative people who transform ugly, single-use plastic into beautiful things, and we hope this campaign can inspire you to get involved in making the next right thing for the planet.
