Meet Kieran our Ambassador!
Pineapple Island began with a handful of jewellery that Nathan had collected whilst travelling Asia. As Pineapple Island has grown, we wanted to share the spotlight with some amazing people around the world. Meet Kieran Stracey our first ever Ambassador for Pineapple Island!
Kieran Stracey is a musician from the South-West coast of England. He has dedicated his whole life so far to music, subsequently graduating with a First Class Honours music degree and receiving an award for the highest mark in his year. Although he is best known for his drumming videos online; raking up over 17.5 million likes on TikTok in the past year, and capturing the attention from the likes of Niall Noran, he is also invested in writing, producing and mixing his own music.
Besides music, he has a passion for the outdoors and is a dedicated environmentalist and vegan. He has forthcoming plans to backpack in New Zealand, encompassing his love for hiking and adventure.
We knew Kieran would be a perfect match for Pineapple Island. His adventurous soul is one that has to be shared! We've even worked on a new surf style bracelet set designed by him.
So Kieran, how did we meet?
'I came across Pineapple Island a few years ago when I was on the search for new sustainable clothing and accessory brands.'
What does it mean to be an ambassador to Pineapple Island?
'As there are widespread environmental, sustainable, and ethical issues embedded within the fashion industry, I only purchase from brands that I trust to promote tackling these issues at the forefront of their brand ethos. Therefore, I actively promote Pineapple Island as a brand. I believe to do just that.'
What does jewellery mean to you?
'I have always enjoyed wearing jewellery; preferably jewellery that I can wear with anything. Although I wear it for style, I like to know that the accessories I wear mean something to me personally. For example, my mum and a Scandinavian artist designed my ring to represent the mountains and was gifted to me on my 19th birthday. We had three made so myself, my mum and my sister could all wear the same ring.'
