Join us with Witchways of Dorset for an evening of tarot, intuition and making something that feels personal to you. You’ll receive your own reading, learn the basics of reading tarot yourself, make your own unique elastic bracelet, and discover the meaning behind the beads you’ve chosen to make it with.

Working from fashion imagery, you will be taken through drawing exercises and then create a mixed-media fashion illustration. No drawing experience is needed. Just come ready to experiment, try something different and have a bit of fun with it. 1 drink included + 20% off retail products

ABOUT JENNY

Jenny Tarr is a local artist and illustrator whose expressive, line-led work explores identity, clothing and the ways we choose to be seen. Her work uses bold gesture, pattern and colour to capture character rather than perfect likeness, with fashion often providing a starting point for exploring self-expression and individuality.

Come along for a relaxed evening of making, colour and a little time to yourself, with guest maker Jasmine Wheeler Art.

You’ll create your own mosaic coaster, choosing from hundreds of colourful tiles to make something that feels entirely your own. We’ll have plenty of design inspiration to get you started, or you can follow your own ideas and see where they take you.

Picture an evening filled with festive foliage, seasonal details and a little Christmas spirit. The Christmas Wreath Making Workshop is an evening of creating, sipping and taking some time for yourself, hosted at The Island in collaboration with Kohana.

Kohana will be joining us at the island to guide you through making your own gorgeous Christmas wreath, ready to hang on your door for the festive season.

Your ticket includes all the materials needed to make your wreath, guided help from Kohana, festive nibbles to enjoy while you create, drinks, and 20% off anything you take home from the shop.

Picture a table filled with colourful beads, gorgeous charms, good music and something festive to drink. Our Charm Bracelet Workshop is an evening of making, choosing your favourites and taking a little time to yourself at The Island.

You’ll create your own beaded lobster clasp charm bracelet, choosing from a selection of beads and charms to make something that feels completely your own. Along the way, there’ll be some Christmas nibbles to keep you company, plus a drink to enjoy while you create.
