Speak Your Freedom - Our LGBTQIA+ Campaign
This Pride we're campaigning to focus on amplifying queer voices and raising awareness for LGBTQIA+ issues through 'Speak Your Freedom'. We've collaborated with Just Like Us Charity, donating 20% of profits from our Pride collection.
Just Like Us is the LGBT+ young people’s charity. Their vision is to ensure LGBT+ young people can thrive. They work with thousands of schools across the UK to support them to embed LGBT+ inclusion in their communities, whilst tackling anti-LGBT+ bullying. To learn more click here.
So what is Speak Your Freedom?
We strive as a brand to avoid rainbow washing and be consistent in our advocacy. We understand that a LGBTQ+ campaign needs to involve more than rainbow-themed products. Therefore we are supportive of LGBTQ+ rights as a business, and our whole company embodies the values of pride all year round, encouraging everyone to speak their freedom and feel safe to be who they are.
The campaign itself has been informed by the Just Like Us LGBTQ+ charity, and the launch has been led by one of our staff members who is a part of the LGBTQ+ community. This is to ensure that we can give an authentic voice to members of the community who are marginalised, whilst also giving back to charities who do so much for LGBTQ+ inclusion.
