Pineapple Island jewellery has always been made in Indonesia, by a community of artisans in Bali and Java who've helped make us who we are. They've given us so much, and we've always wanted to find a way to say thank you.
Our partnership with Ombak For Hope is a small step towards doing just that. Together, we’re supporting the communities in Bali, Java, and across Indonesia who handcraft our jewellery, helping to build brighter futures through education, opportunity, and positive change.
The ocean, the islands, and the people who call them home have always been at the heart of Pineapple Island. It’s where our story began - and where we want to start making a real difference.
Who are Ombak For Hope?
A charity supporting underprivileged children across Indonesia's coasts through surfing. They turn donations into a way for kids to build new skills, self-esteem and confidence through surfing, English lessons and books to support their education.
Together, we’re working to give back to the communities that inspire us every day - the people, the waves, and the places that make Pineapple Island what it is.

From now on, you can add a £1, £2 or £5 donation to your order in your cart or after checkout, going towards surfing equipment, exercise books and learning materials, and supporting the wider community. And we'll match every donation made, doubling the total raised.
This is something we'll be doing going forward, and we'll regularly share what we've raised and where it's going.
