Visiting The Wave Project, Dorset
After handing over some of our donated stock to the store, we had a catch with Tom to learn a little more about The Wave Project and why he loves working for them!

Tom has worked with for The Wave Project since February, and he's loving every second! Being able to interact with young people and the volunteers themselves!
So what does volunteering for The Wave Project look like?
It's a great way to connect with people and see everyone. Greeting family's and children is a highlight for Tom. Introducing families to the Surf Coaches and hanging out with them during and after is particularly his favourite. It brings people together, what could be better than that!
Above you can see our Surf Soul Poster. 100% of proceeds go directly to The Wave Project, Click here, to see more.
What is the community feeling when working with The Wave Project?
Getting to work alongside some amazing people makes this an experience I wouldn't want to miss out on. Libby, our regional manager, is super supportive, which helps us stay connected with other volunteers. We are based across the UK. An annual meet up takes place in New Quay. It's great to see what everyone's up to.

What are future plans for The Wave Project?
The plan is to keep spreading the word, working with amazing families and friends. The Wave Project welcomes all!
As you can see, The Wave Project is a great organisation to support. It was so lovely to catch up with Tom too! If you find yourself in the Dorset area, be sure to go in and say hi from us!
