Picture this: golden hour light, good music, a table full of beads and charms, and a room of new faces who all showed up for the same reason you did. Sunset Social is an evening for making things and making friends, hosted at The Island in the heart of Bournemouth, in collaboration with Ink by Kiera.
This one's designed to be come-alone-friendly. No need to bring a group, in fact, we'd rather you didn't. The whole idea is to meet people you wouldn't otherwise cross paths with, over something slow and creative rather than small talk.
Over the course of the evening, you'll make 2 pieces of jewellery, any combination of bracelet, necklace, anklet, or earrings, choosing freely from our full range of beads and charms. All materials and guidance are included, no experience necessary.
While you make, you'll be looked after with tea, coffee, matcha, and soft drinks.
Every guest goes home with a free collab gift bag from Ink by Kiera x Pineapple Island, and there'll be a grazing board from a local Bournemouth supplier to share as the evening winds down.
As a thank you for joining us, you'll also get 20% off anything you'd like to take home from the shop.

FAQ
Each booking is for one persons making space in our studio. If you are coming with friends, make sure everyone books their own slot just so we have enough space for you.
We do not offer returns or exchanges on items made in our workshops. However, we do offer a 48-hour repair or remake clause - if a piece of jewellery has any problems in the first 48 hours, let us known and one of our staff memebers can help fix it for you.
Made to be lived in, not left in a jewellery box. Wear it often, take it everywhere and let it become part of your everyday life.
Some beads, shells and natural stones may fade slightly with time and wear. We think that’s part of what makes handmade jewellery feel personal.
There is no age requirement to take part in our workshops, but we recommend 10yrs+ because of all the tiny beads we have to choose from.
Any child under the age of 14 should be accompanied by an adult.
